Briefly describe your raiding history, both in WoW, as well as any previous raiding in other MMORPGs. Please include your previous raid schedule; have you ever raided 5 nights a week?

Started playing wow in BC. I raided Kara, Gruel, Mag and TK on my rogue. For Wrath I have raided 10-Ulduar up to General Vezax and have cleared 10-ToC on my mage. |

Drama, tears, general malaise and bitterness are always fun, but we do tend to put progress first. Under what circumstances did you leave your last guild(s)?

Rusty Bling- we left because the guild leader (Mizzri) disbanded the guild to join Muteki. We still get along with everyone that was in that guild very well and have no hard feelings.
No Limits- we were only with them for about 2 weeks. It was not a pretty break up. They G-kicked me and my husband (Malnewt) mid week due to attitude differences between my husband and some of the guild leaders. I am pretty sure the only reason they kept us as long as they did was because of my mages high dps. Either way we were happy to be out of the guild, but not as happy about them not inviting us back to finish 25 ToC, since we were already saved to their raid. It is never fun to have a raid ID stolen :(
This is the only time we have been G-kicked from a guild or not invited back to a raid. I have never been kicked from a pug or not invited back by a pug. |

I always come prepared for raids. This includes several things. I know my class well, I read the mage forums and make adjustments to my play style accordingly. I have the highest lvl enchants and gems in all my gear, I even have 2 professions that buff my raid stats slightly (JC and enchanting). I bring my own flasks, pots and food to all raids. I watch the tank spot videos for all the bosses before entering content that is new to me. I always strive to play the best possible for my class/gear. |

What add-on modules do you use? We insist that you use Omen, Ora2, Deadly Boss Mods and Pally Power (Paladins)

I use Omen, Deadly Boss Mods, recount, quartz and Decursive for my mage. I can download Ora2 as well if accepted into the guild. |

Raid spots are competitive even if you do come prepared. Can you handle riding the bench, particularly during your app process?

Yes. As long as the raids are organized so if I "ride the bench" I know if and when I can pug the raid that I "rode the bench" for. If I am saved to a raid ID, I will not be happy about "riding the bench" for that raid. I don't want to be saved to raid IDs that I will not be invited to finish unless I am obviously under-performing. |

DKP Minus members are not shy, and thick skin is a must have. How do you deal with harsh criticism and outright verbal abuse?

Tell me about your class! What is your average DPS/TPS/HPS? Do you use Macros? Show us you know how to play!

I prefer to play as an arcane mage. This means my dps will be a little lower on AoE groups than a Fire mage, but my single target DPS will be high and I can control when I do burst damage. Mana is an issues, I play aggressively using my evocate and mana gems every time they are up, I even use Arcane torrent to get mana back every time it is up. The hardest part about playing an Arcane mage is managing mana vs. dps. My DPS depends on the fight of course. I usually do about 6k dps on the 25 VoA Bosses, I like to use those ones to judge my dps because they are single target dps fights (or atleast should be) and have no gimmicks to crank up ones dps. I don't use macros for my mage, my dps cycle changes depending on how much mana I have and what cooldowns/procs are up at the time. I like to have control over what I cast and when I cast it. |

What would you say is your primary weakness in a raid situation? (Note: "I am a chronic overachiever" is not a valid response.

Mana.
I am very aggressive with my mana as an arcane mage. If I mess up an evocate, there will be a severe drop in my dps.
Also, it takes me awhile to trust other raid members. I will waste my mana on things like firewards and manashields instead of trusting a healer (this has kept me alive in several pugs, but hurts my dps).
Not properly managing mana can destroy an arcane mages DPS. |
